I am really bad at this blogging thing, am I? So, I’ve been home for almost a week and busy as a bee! I’ve been working hard out on the farm, cookin’, cleanin’, farm chore-in’, pie makin’, and slave drivin’. Yeah, it’s been a pretty busy week. After getting back from Cali last Monday, I realized that I was slightly behind on my assignments for my online class, so I did that all day Tuesday and  all day Saturday. This week is the last week of the class (thank goodness!!!) and I have all my assignments done except for one thing–an eight page summary paper on the course. =P Right now, I have a page and a half written. It’s due at the end of the week. I get to work all week too, so no pressure, right? =P

Oh yes, I was going to talk about my little trip…So I went and visited my friend Hannah in So. Cali for a week. We had a blast! We went to the beach, went shopping, swam in the pool, had a little birthday party for Hannah, made some yummy home cooked food like pizza and pineapple upside down cake. One day we went to some pretty cool vintage clothing stores-that was alot of fun! Most of the stores had clothes ranging around the 1960′s and 1970′s. I bought a dress (not vintage, but kinda vintage in style) and a Gunny Sax skirt! Pretty fun–I’ll try and post a picture of it some time soon.

And here we are at the beach!

Now to get on that silly paper. Hopefully I’ll make it through this week alive without going insane from it! =P

Hello Dear Blog readers!

Sorry I’ve been neglecting my blog! I have been busy finishing costumes for Music Man, working out on the Hager’s farm, doing homework for my online summer class, and getting ready to go on a little trip to visit my friend Hannah in California next week.

I have been sewing so pretty fun stuff through! Summer clothes mostly-shorts, tunic tops, and the like. When I get back from Cali, I shall post about them! My next project is an apron for my Grandma. It’ll be a fun project for sure-red and white check with back rick-rack for trim.

Oh! I also got a new little Canon point and shoot for taking pictures(Power Shot A3000 IS). I’ve really been wanting a small camera for a while that can easily be carried around for when I go places, and events and such. Now I have one, so hopefully it’ll be a little bit easier (and more motivating) for me to take pictures again. =] I love my Canon Rebel XTi, but it’s a little too big and bulky to lug around everywhere. =P

So for now, a little break from blogging! I’ll be back in a week or so!
